Red Roses

Wishing everyone a belated Happy Easter! Having consumed half my eggs I have officially lost the will to eat any more chocolate in the foreseeable future. These photos were taken a little while ago but I've only just got round to putting them all together. The dress was gifted from Dress Lily and I decided to pair it with all black because I wanted to keep it quite simple. I've put a link to it above and at the bottom of this post, it's perfect for the Spring/ Summer transition. Hope you like the photos and I will be posting more frequently in the next few weeks xoxo

Spring Florals

Boohoo recently contacted me to ask if I wanted to participate in a styling challenge called 'Bloggers X Dress Of The Month' and of course I happily accepted. It's basically a project where the same secret product is sent to all the Bloggers of the Month to see how each of them wear it to suit their figure/shape. I was quite nervous when I first received the dress as it's a bit out of my comfort zone... I am definitely guilty of avoiding patterns and colour. Anyway, it was pleasantly surprising and the dress was really easy to incorporate into my usual style.
This has definitely encouraged me to experiment a bit more - thanks Boohoo. :) xoxo

Metallic Silver

This week's outfit consists of an extremely shiny skirt. I've previously worn it as part of an alien costume and it is perfect for channelling your inner ET (one of my favourite childhood films). I would definitely recommend it, but also I warn that it is quite short if you are on the taller side - I'm 5ft7. The top is one that I've had for ages but only rediscovered recently when I wore it on a night out - we are now reunited and on friendly terms. Now that I've started to personify my clothing I'm going to stop typing.
Happy weekend, the details of where they're from are listed below. Xx

Skirt: Topshop
Top: Missguided

And lastly I'd like to thank you all for your lovely recent comments - I appreciate them all <3. I've really been enjoying blogging lately and thank you for letting me know I'm not just talking to myself. Xx

Feather Weather

These photos were taken last weekend when I visited Durham aka the freezing North of England. The storm on Thursday postponed my arrival and I was literally sitting on a non moving train for 3 hours. When I arrived (eventually lol), I wore one of my fluffy jackets in an effort to shield myself... but clearly just ended up looking like a windswept bird. Xx

I never write personal things on here but sadly my grandfather died on Tuesday. I wanted to share this photo of me and him as it has always been one of my favourites. <3 xox

Pink Velvet & Denim

I always feel like a well groomed Shih Tzu when I do my hair like this - *inspirational picture linked here*. Lately I've been wearing a lot of pink, which is something I didn't see coming.
I love rediscovering items, sadly I used to own the most amazing pink velour tracksuit in the same colour as this top - something I dearly miss :(.  The choker is also something 10 year old me probs would have liked, well anything remotely shiny. Have a fabulous week xoxo

Never Forever

Because nothing is permanent? Except hair dye of course.
It took a lot of self-persuasion to buy these fishnets after years of having to wear white tights as part of my school uniform... it looked hideous. It's an extremely scarring memory of the convent to say the least. Hopefully one day I will eventually overcome my phobia of white nylon. Also my top was a Christmas gift from my boyfriend and I have rarely taken it off since December. Happy Sunday! Xx

London Bridge

Here are some photos from this last weekend when my boyfriend came to visit :). Definitely not the most adventurous/ inspirational of outfit choices but a realistic picture of what I wear on a day to day basis. Slightly regretted the choice of crop top because of the freezing conditions but it's my fave colour so what can ya do really. My sister bought it for me and now I own it in pretty much every colour. I'm guilty of doing this for so many tops because I find it hard to find styles that actually fit and suit my bust/ waist ratio. Hope you like the photos as this has always been a favourite location of mine! It does attract drama though, moments before these were taken I witnessed a woman being arrested and my boyfriend nearly got into a fight haha. London never ceases to surprise. Xx
